About The Position

Doyle Security Services is seeking to hire a Licensed Fire Life Safety Director in NYC for a High End Hotel. This role offers a steady income in a great work environment. The position requires a valid T-89 OR F89 FDNY Fire Life Safety Director License and a Valid NY State Security Guard License. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Hotel FLSD experience, be at least 21 years of age, and possess the ability to understand and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Technical working knowledge of building systems is also required. Protective security experience is a plus.

Requirements

• MUST have valid T-89 OR F89 FDNY Fire Life Safety Director License
• MUST have Valid NY State Security Guard License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Technical working knowledge of building systems.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 2 years Hotel FLSD experience.
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field.
• Protective security experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Multiple tours of the facility during your shift.
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Assist residents/customers with access control issues.
• Tour the entire facility multiple times per shift.
