About The Position

Ahern is seeking a Fire Equipment/Pre-Engineered Technician in Des Moines, IA. This role involves inspecting and maintaining fire equipment and pre-engineered fire suppression systems, providing technical support to customers, and educating them on identified risks. The technician will also be responsible for accurately documenting customer records in the service management system.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and maintaining fire equipment & pre-engineered fire suppression systems
• Providing customers with technical support
• Educating customers on risks and/or hazards identified in their facility
• Updating and keeping accurate customer records through documentation of accurate dates, locations, and specific notes in our service management system
