Requirements
- At least three years of experience with commercial low-voltage, security, or fire-alarm systems.
- Experience with DMP, Fire-Lite, Silent-Knight, Resideo Vista or comparable systems.
- Experience with Hanwha, Axis or other IP surveillance components and video management systems.
- ESA, BICSI, ASIS, CompTIA, NICET certification, or active progress toward certification.
- Familiarity with NFPA inspection and testing procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- A clean driving record and professional presentation.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- A commitment to safe, neat, and code-compliant work.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, service, and maintain commercial fire alarms, burglar alarms, access control systems, video surveillance systems, and structured cabling.
- Troubleshoot life-safety and security systems accurately and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and project documentation.
- Run conduit, pull cable, terminate devices, and complete clean, professional installations.
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes, standards, and company expectations.
- Perform inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and system repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records and project documentation.
- Partner with our Client Experience Team to provide responsive, customer-first service.
- Represent Solid Security | Technology with professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
