About The Position
Oversee the inspection, testing and maintenance of installed fire protection systems including but not limited to fire alarm systems and water-based fire protection systems. Also conduct inspections and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers, exit lighting, fire and life safety (FLS) system smoke and fire barriers including open protective doors. Assuring compliance with hospital policies, local, state, and federal codes.
Requirements
- Experience with inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems.
- Knowledge of water-based fire protection systems.
- Experience with portable fire extinguishers.
- Experience with exit lighting.
- Experience with fire and life safety (FLS) system smoke and fire barriers.
- Understanding of hospital policies.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal codes.
