About The Position

Everguard Fire Safety is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join their growing team. Requirements

• 2+ years of fire alarm service or inspection experience
• Demonstrated attention to detail, and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently and professionally with customers on active sites
• Great documentation habits and a customer‑focused approach
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to participate in overtime and remote-site work (with premium pay!)

Nice To Haves

• Electronics or Fire Protection Technology education
• CFAA certification or provincial fire alarm permits
• Manufacturer approved training (e.g. Siemens, Autocall, Simplex, Edwards and Notifier)
• Experience with major fire alarm systems

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test systems according to the Saskatchewan Fire Code
• Diagnose and repair system faults, panels, devices, and circuits
• Install, program, repair, and commission fire alarm components
• Document deficiencies and complete reports using digital tools
• Read and interpret schematics and specifications
• Support and mentor junior technicians
• Participate in on-call rotation (with premium pay)
