The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to be the best in his or her field. He or she will be committed to excellence and have a strong desire to go above and beyond regardless of the assignment.

Requirements

  • Massachusetts Electrical License
  • High school diploma
  • Possess a valid Driver's license
  • Ability to travel throughout Massachusetts
  • Extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Fire Alarm systems installation
  • Experience with a variety of system manufacturers including Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience preferred
  • Ability to install fire alarm systems

Responsibilities

  • Service, program, test, inspect and troubleshoot basic and complex fire alarm systems with limited or no supervision.
  • Install fire alarm systems (a plus, but not required).
  • Coordinate with contractors, customers, building maintenance personnel, and office personnel to execute daily workload.
  • Identify code issues and non-conformance issues.
  • Make recommendations regarding system installation improvements.
  • Respond to and carry out to completion any troubleshooting and repairs on assigned customer systems.
