We’re looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team and help install, service, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems. In this role, you’ll work with a supportive group dedicated to providing reliable safety solutions for our clients. Job Overview As a Fire Alarm Technician, you’ll install, program, test, and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance. You’ll work closely with clients and team members to troubleshoot issues and provide exceptional service. This role is perfect for someone with technical expertise in fire alarm systems who is ready to grow with a supportive and forward-thinking company.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in the fire alarm industry, including installation and inspection.
Familiarity with all applicable NFPA codes and standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to carry and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

Install fire alarm systems, including electrical wiring and equipment, ensuring compliance with NFPA codes.
Program, test, and inspect fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality.
Perform on-site troubleshooting and emergency repairs of fire alarm systems.
Ensure all systems meet local licensure requirements, including acquiring and maintaining necessary licenses/certifications.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Travel to job sites across the Philadelphia area and surrounding areas as necessary (company vehicle provided).
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their needs.
Maintain detailed records of work completed and provide clear reports to clients and management.
