You are the one who gets the call when the panel keeps beeping; a device refuses to cooperate, or an inspection turns up something that cannot wait. You move between scheduled service, system testing, troubleshooting, and the occasional emergency call, keeping customers informed, and systems compliant from start to finish. In this role, you will: Service, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot both basic and complex fire alarm systems. Perform routine maintenance and corrective repairs in accordance with NFPA 72 and company standards. Identify code deficiencies and provide clear, professional recommendations for system improvements. Respond to emergency calls as required, including participation in nights, weekends, and on-call rotations. Collaborate with contractors, building personnel, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Document service activities accurately, including findings, work performed, and parts used. Maintain clear communication with customers, supervisors, and office staff regarding status, next steps, and any concerns.
