About The Position

Elite Fire Services is hiring a Fire Alarm Technician Apprentice for its Fire Alarm division. This role offers an opportunity to learn a growing and in-demand trade, with training provided to become a licensed, certified Fire Alarm Technician. The company is seeking hard-working, hands-on individuals interested in a long-term career in the fire protection industry, which is currently in high demand. The position involves learning about different alarm systems to pass certification tests and performing various tasks related to fire protection systems.

Requirements

A valid driver's license with 3 or less points.
Three years of licensed driving experience.
Experience using a variety of hand tools.
Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends when needed.
Comfortable working on ladders 6 to 12ft and on lifts.
Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
Ability to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
Skills to communicate well with customers and explain the work being done and any repairs that are necessary.
Skills to write well and be very detailed in your write-up on service work.
Must be well organized and be able to keep track of service tickets and process all required documents for each service performed.

Responsibilities

Learn and study about different alarm systems to pass tests and become certified.
