About The Position

The Fire Alarm Install Support Technician is responsible for assisting with the installation of fire alarm systems under direct supervision. The technician will support senior team members in completing installation tasks while learning basic industry practices, tools, and safety procedures. This role involves performing work in commercial, industrial, and construction environments, adhering to instructions, and traveling to job sites as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
• Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license (if driving is required).
• Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.

Nice To Haves

• Prior fire alarm experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of fire alarm systems under direct supervision.
• Support senior technicians with daily job site tasks.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Transport materials and equipment to job sites as needed.
• Learn and follow installation standards and code requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Perform work in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
• Adhere to instructions and guidance from supervisors at all times.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
