About The Position

Firetrol Protection Systems, founded in 1984, is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking skilled Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler Inspectors to join our team of the best fire protection professionals in the industry. This role involves performing routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of fire protection systems with minimal supervision. The position requires regular face-to-face interaction with customers in various locations such as hospitals, nursing homes, k-12 education facilities, colleges, restaurants, military installations, government buildings, commercial buildings, and multi-family residential properties. Contact with members of the public may also occur with varying frequency depending on the type of facility where inspections are performed. Excellent verbal communication skills are required to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers. The ability to work independently, as well as with other team members, is essential. Responsibilities include diagnosing and evaluating systems that require servicing, troubleshooting issues that arise during inspections, properly documenting all inspections and other information needed to perform repairs, and providing detailed reports and recommended corrective actions to the customer.

Requirements

  • Proven record of providing excellent customer service and care
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Pass a drug test
  • Pass a background check
  • Must possess AT LEAST ONE of the following certifications plus have sufficient knowledge & experience: Texas FAL License or Texas RME-I License
  • Excellent verbal communication skills required to work with customers, technicians, sales personnel, and managers
  • Work independently, as well as, with other team members

Nice To Haves

  • Must possess or be willing to obtain any applicable state licenses.
