About The Position

We are seeking skilled Fire Alarm Service Technicians and Inspectors to join our team. In this role you will need to be familiar with inspecting, testing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing Fire Alarm systems.

Requirements

Industry related FAL (Texas Fire Alarm License) is required.
Active Texas Fire Alarm Technician (FAL) Certification is required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
Proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.
Excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Fire Alarm/Low Voltage industry.

Nice To Haves

Experience with the following manufacturers: Edwards/EST, Kidde, Notifier, FireLite, Bosch, Silent Knight, DSC, Telguard, and Gamewell/FCI is preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, service, troubleshoot, and repair Fire Alarm systems.
Respond to scheduled and emergency service requests.
Perform in-depth troubleshooting, repair, and/or replacement of system equipment.
Program fire alarm systems or have experience with programming low voltage systems including fire alarm, nurse call, access control, security, or CCTV.
Resolve problems through research of multiple alternatives.
Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
Assist customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate project status to management.
Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required.
