About The Position

Responsible for fire alarm installations, retrofits, and tenant build-outs, identifying code and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely field reports.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including conduit installation, wiring, and terminations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and construction drawings
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Experience installing or assisting with fire alarm systems
• Familiarity with NFPA 72 and local fire codes
• Low-voltage license or NICET certification (or willingness to obtain)
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial electrical installations, service, and maintenance
• Install conduit, pull wire, terminate electrical and low-voltage devices
• Interpret electrical and fire alarm drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Ensure work is completed to code (NEC, NFPA 70; NFPA 72 if applicable)
• Communicate effectively with foremen, project managers, and inspectors
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and proper documentation of work performed
