About The Position

We are seeking skilled Fire Alarm Inspectors to join our team. In this role you will need to be familiar with inspecting and testing fire alarm systems. Inspectors shall perform all inspection and testing on fire alarm systems. Inspectors shall be able to complete all reports necessary for fire alarm systems. Familiarity with sprinkler system inspections is also desired but not required. Fire Extinguisher and Kitchen Hood Service Technicians are also desired. Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners. Assist customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Effectively communicate project status to management. Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required. Industry related NICET and/or state certification is preferred or obtain within one year of hire. Experience with the following manufacturers: Edwards/EST, Kidde, Notifier, FireLite, Bosch, Silent Knight, DSC, Telguard, and Gamewell/FCI is preferred. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.
  • Must be proficient in the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.
  • Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
  • Minimum of OSHA 10 is required.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools as required and lifting to 75lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with sprinkler system inspections is also desired but not required.
  • Fire Extinguisher and Kitchen Hood Service Technicians are also desired.
