We’re looking for a Fire Alarm Inspector who’s ready to bring their expertise to the front lines of fire safety. You’ll be responsible for inspecting and testing sprinkler systems to ensure full compliance with local, state, and national fire codes. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician, Fire Alarm Inspector, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including installation, testing, and maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with NFPA codes and standards, as well as local fire codes and regulations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and tests of fire alarm systems, including visual inspections, functional testing, and sensitivity testing
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of fire alarm equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm systems and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Verify and document system functionality and ensure compliance with NFPA codes and local regulations.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintenance records for documentation purposes.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to building owners, property managers, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with contractors and technicians to schedule repairs and installations.
  • Provide training and support to building personnel on the proper operation of fire alarm systems.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements related to fire alarm systems.
