About The Position

Requirements

Current Arkansas Fire Alarm Technician License or ability to obtain one.
At least 12 months of hands-on experience installing, servicing, and inspecting fire alarm, security, or monitoring systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain the tools necessary to perform technician duties.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Professional communication skills and customer-facing experience.
Ability to work efficiently in deadline-driven environments.
Comfortable working in a variety of facilities, including: Banks, Office Buildings, K-12 Schools and Universities, Hospitals and Medical Clinics, Long-Term Care Facilities, Industrial Facilities.

Responsibilities

Install, program, test, and commission fire alarm systems and devices in accordance with NFPA 72 standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and system specifications.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fire alarm system issues, including alarm, trouble, and supervisory conditions.
Perform fire alarm inspections and accurately document findings in electronic reporting systems.
Deliver professional customer service while interacting with clients on service and inspection calls.
Collaborate effectively with team members and management to ensure successful project completion.
Participate in after-hours emergency service calls as needed (additional compensation provided).
Support or work alongside other low-voltage systems including access control, structured cabling, and video surveillance when applicable.
