About The Position

Johnson Controls is hiring a Fire Alarm Inspector to test and inspect fire alarm systems for existing and new customers. The role requires documenting completed work, following company safety policies and instructions, and completing duties in a safe and professional manner while maintaining a clean, safe work area. The inspector may need to carry equipment weighing up to 70 pounds, work in unusual or difficult positions, and climb ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment. Alternative shifts or weekends may be required to meet customer needs.

Requirements

Installation or service experience testing and inspecting fire alarm equipment.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
Ability to perform physical labor.
Excellent communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Ability to work well with others.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and smartphone skills.

Responsibilities
