Fire Alarm Electrician
About The Position
This position is located in Englewood, Colorado. The role involves the installation of fire alarm systems, including the rough-in of electrical boxes, wire pulling, and trimming of fire alarm system components. The electrician will be responsible for bending and installing conduit, learning applicable fire protection codes, and obtaining necessary state licensing. A strong emphasis is placed on working safely according to company procedures, including those for driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out. Maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Electrical installation experience required
- 3-year Electrician Apprentice or Electrician Journeyman
- Proficient in EMT conduit bending and installation
- Excellent communications and customer service skills
- Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements
- Travel required
Nice To Haves
- Installation of low voltage wire and fire alarm systems is a plus
- IEC certification is a plus
- Electrician background is a plus
