M&M Fire Protection & Security is seeking a Fire Alarm and Security Electronics Technician. This position requires the ability to install, maintain, and repair electronic security systems, including CCTV and alarm systems. Requirements

Strong technical skills in electronics, electrical wiring, and security systems.
Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues.
Strong troubleshooting skills for security systems and equipment.
Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
Ability to provide good customer service, especially in terms of training and support.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Knowledge of programming various systems pertaining to CCTV, Intrusion, access control, intercoms, gate systems.

Responsibilities

Installing and wiring fire alarms, security systems, including access control, CCTV, Gate systems, Intercom, and alarm systems, following blueprints and building plans.
Performing regular maintenance, including cleaning, adjusting, and testing security equipment and systems.
Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in fire alarms and security systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Conducting tests to ensure proper system operation, including testing circuits, sensors, and backup systems.
Identifying and resolving issues with fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, and gate systems.
Providing technical support to users, explaining system functions, and assisting with troubleshooting.
Maintaining records of system installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
Integrating security systems with other safety and security subsystems, such as fire alarms or emergency systems.
Assisting with security assessments and recommending equipment and systems upgrades.
Training users on how to use and maintain security systems.
Adhering to safety protocols and codes during installations and repairs.
Managing parts inventory and maintaining tools.
Responding to work orders, communicating with clients, and coordinating with other departments.
