About The Position

We are seeking a FinOps Engineer to support cloud financial management across multiple cloud platforms. This role partners closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to provide visibility into cloud usage, optimize spend, and enable data‑driven decision‑making. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on FinOps experience, strong cloud cost management fundamentals, and a willingness to learn and grow automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze cloud usage metrics (including CPU utilization) across AWS, Azure, and GCP to identify cost drivers and optimization opportunities
• Leverage cloud-native tools such as AWS CloudWatch, billing exports, and monitoring services to support usage visibility and reporting
• Utilize Apptio Cloudability to analyze cloud spend, develop chargeback/showback models, and support forecasting and budgeting activities
• Partner with engineering teams to interpret cloud usage trends and recommend cost optimization strategies
• Maintain and enhance automated reporting pipelines for cloud financial data
• Support FinOps best practices, including tagging strategies, unit cost modeling, and variance analysis
• Prepare clear dashboards and financial insights for leadership and stakeholders
