About The Position

ARCH Medical Solutions - Warsaw is seeking a Finishing Technician to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming precision-machined components into finished products that meet exact customer specifications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with specialized equipment, and being part of a team that values quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous finishing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using precision inspection and measuring tools.
  • Basic blueprint reading skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to complete required manufacturing and quality documentation.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Understanding and ability to follow quality system requirements and manufacturing procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Experience using computers in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in medical device, aerospace, machining, or other precision manufacturing industries.

Responsibilities

  • Perform finishing processes including: Blasting, Tumbling, Buffing, Polishing, Grinding, Cleaning, Hand filing.
  • Select the proper abrasives and finishing methods to achieve required surface finishes.
  • Identify customer finish requirements from blueprints, prints, and specifications.
  • Perform in-process inspections and accurately document results.
  • Use precision measurement equipment including: Calipers, Micrometers, Height gages, Optical comparators, Pin gages, Functional gages.
  • Verify dimensions and quality requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Read and interpret job travelers, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Identify special process requirements and customer specifications.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Participate in team-based activities and support production schedules.
