Requirements

  • 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Ski shop and ski tuning experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power tools and machinery
  • Proficiency with metric measurements preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred
  • Ability to help lead a team, manage schedules, and meet production deadlines
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, preferred
  • A positive demeanor and professional attitude
  • A high level of discretion
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a production team
  • The ability to stand and remain active throughout the workday

  • The ability to regularly move objects weighing approximately 15 pounds and up to 60 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Working with the production team to achieve established daily quotas
  • Operating multiple processes and pieces of equipment throughout the workday
  • Operating stone grinders
  • Operating routers
  • Operating drum, disc, and belt sanders
  • Operating bandsaws
  • Using various power tools, including drills and die grinders
  • Operating an industrial dust collector
  • Helping ensure equipment is properly maintained
  • Supporting day-to-day production activities and schedules
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of DPS Skis' manufacturing operations
  • Performing other duties and functions as necessary or assigned
