About The Position

The Finishing Tech II position is responsible for the vibratory and deburring of all parts required. This position will run vibratory machines and deburring equipment and is responsible for ensuring parts pass visual inspection. Machine Operators must follow all operator instructions along with strict adherence to the Quality System.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
6 months of related experience and/or training required.
Proficient understanding of vibratory and deburring processes.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to perform work accurately, thoroughly and in a timely manner.
Able to manage and perform multiple tasks and duties at the same time.
Proficient in the use of common hand and power tools.
Able to read and understand Safety Rules, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Flexibility to work all areas of the operation based on the needs of the organization.
Maintains a positive attitude and is goal driven.
Able to maintain confidentiality as required.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all Safety Principles.
Adhere to all Quality System Standards.
Process components within established operator cycle times.
Vibratory and deburr all parts.
Visually inspect components to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Change media, cleaners and adjust machines to ensure they are functioning properly.
Maintain equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.
Keep the area organized and clean.
Assist in on-the-job training of Finishing Tech I employees.
Assist in process optimization initiatives within department to improve efficiency and output quality.
Participate in Safety, Quality, and Cost and Delivery improvements.
