Finishing Technician I
About The Position
Perform a variety of tasks in the finishing process of the blade. This involves grinding blades to work instruction specifications, applying gelcoat to designated locations, and matting to give blades a clean finish. The role also includes painting, sanding, applying tape to edges to avoid overspray, and applying auto mask to the shell of the blade. Additionally, filler/mud is applied to the lead edge of the blade and scraped to fill voids, followed by turning the blade utilizing a machine. The position requires adherence to health and safety guidelines, wearing designated personal protective equipment, and maintaining 5s standards.
Requirements
- Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull heavy objects.
- Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
- Ability to work with hands for an extended period.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
- Requires usage of respirator.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma/GED or related experience.
- Previous Manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities

- Maintain 5s standards.
