About The Position

Nexxt Spine LLC is a medical device company that designs, manufactures, and distributes spinal implants and instruments. The Finishing Technician – Deburring supports manufacturing by finishing precision components used in medical devices. The role focuses on removing burrs, sharp edges, and machining marks by hand and with finishing equipment so components are safe, clean, and within blueprint specifications. The technician may also support Shot Blast, Ultrasonic Cleaning, Laser Marking, and Clean Room operations, working with the Shift Production Lead, teammates, and other departments to meet quality and delivery goals.

• Hand dexterity for working with small parts.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects from machined components using hand tools, files, abrasives, and rotary tools, working under magnification as needed.
• Operate and learn tumbling, vibratory finishing, shot blast, and ultrasonic cleaning equipment to deburr, smooth, and clean parts.
• Deburr and clean parts according to established manufacturing processes.
• Visually inspect deburred parts and use measuring instruments to confirm they meet blueprint specifications.
• Complete required production records and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Report quality concerns, equipment issues, and production delays to the Finishing Lead.
• Assist other Finishing areas as needed to support production flow.
