Finishing Process Operator-Indianapolis, IN Finishing Process Operator Coatings is a key part of our business. Reporting to the Department Supervisor, a Finishing Process Operator is responsible for the operation of a finishing process (Plating, E-Coat, Powder Coat) and the general/preventative maintenance of finishing equipment. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, this is the role for you. Successful candidates will have some prior experience in manufacturing.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• 3 months experience in plating, e-coat, or powder coat in a manufacturing operation.
• Ability to perform material handling, racking activities, and preventative maintenance of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize basic chemistry and math principles to determine and maintain pH levels, amperages, and material ordering.
• Enter and maintaining quality data via computerized systems.
• Follow KanBan principles regarding material flow.
• Follow all OSHA and RCRA regulations in handling chemicals and operating finishing process and material movement equipment.
