About The Position
The Finishing Operator ensures that couplings are properly doped, thread caps are placed and tightened on the ends, and starts couplings by hand for specified threaded ends. This role operates within a manufacturing environment and requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements
- High School or equivalent work related experience.
- Read, write and speak English in a clear and effective manner.
- Ability to use hands to clean, paint and lift objects to chest height.
- Good finger dexterity and good hand and eye coordination.
- Ability to work with others, with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Operating a forklift.
Responsibilities
- Support all functions of the department.
- Verify incoming material against work orders.
- Ensure proper doping and deburring.
- Follow all PPE policies and safety rules.
