Finishing Operator - 2nd & Weekend Shift

Requirements
- Experience in industrial finishing, painting, epoxy coating, or manufacturing preferred.
- Basic knowledge of spray equipment, coating processes, or material handling.
- Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines.
- Comfortable working with chemicals, heat, and industrial equipment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent credential required.
Responsibilities
- Operate epoxy or paint line equipment, including sprayers, dip tanks, curing ovens, and conveyors.
- Prepare parts for finishing by cleaning, masking, sanding, or hanging components on the line.
- Mix epoxy, paint, and coating materials according to specifications and safety requirements.
- Monitor coating thickness, color uniformity, and overall finish quality.
- Adjust spray guns, equipment settings, or line speed to achieve optimal coating results.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on equipment, spray booths, ovens, and tools.
- Inspect finished products using visual checks and measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document production counts, quality checks, and material usage.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines.
- Identify defects such as runs, drips, fisheyes, or improper curing and take corrective action.
