About The Position
As a Machine Operator in our Finishing Department, you will lead equipment setups, run production orders, and perform continuous quality checks to keep manufacturing safe and efficient. This role requires someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about precision.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical curiosity, ability to read specifications, and follow SOPs
- Comfortable learning software; MFG Pro transactional skills preferred
- Commitment to safety rules, peer collaboration, and high quality standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform routine machine setups, changeovers, and run orders according to product specifications.
- Inspect finished goods, monitor tolerances, and investigate root causes of equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Safely operate a tow motor/forklift to move packaging, finishing supplies, and complete inventory transactions.
- Record operating metrics in MFG Pro, perform 5S audits, and participate in team problem-solving.
- Communicate effectively across shifts and assist with peer training.
