MRP is searching for a passionate and agile Finishing Machine Operator 1 (Folder Gluer Assistant) who consider themselves problem-solvers and excited by challenges and the opportunity to build something great. As Folder Gluer Assistant in the Finishing Department, you will be responsible for assisting the Operator in preparing for the product run and ensuring there are no gaps in product running through the machine.
Requirements

- Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills.
- Excellent endurance to stand and move about the work area all day.
- Regularly lift, push, pull or move materials up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling.
- Ability to read gauges, measure materials, and perform quality checks.

- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Feed product into the folder gluer machine.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and empty waste bins.
- Strip excess material from product (based on job ticket information).
- Read job ticket to make sure the job is being processed correctly.
- Assemble and store shipping containers.
- Gather and pack product, per job specifications.
- Make cartons for packing product.
