About The Position
Steel Dynamics is seeking a Finishing Millwright for their Cold Mill operations. This role involves organizing area-specific maintenance, participating in planning maintenance-related activities, and supporting daily production. A key aspect of this role is knowledge of the TCOS program.
Requirements
- Previous mechanical maintenance experience required
- Excellent safety and attendance history
- Computer skills to include Word, Project, Excel, Autocad
- A strong ability to lead others
- Cold Mill Maintenance experience
Nice To Haves
- Machining experience preferred
- Steel Mill construction experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe work environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work in a team environment
- Problem solving, multi-tasking abilities, and prioritize work assignments with production needs
- Diagnostics, trouble-shooting, breakdown, preventative and predictive measures
- Working accurately and efficiently without supervision
- Mechanical and hydraulic systems knowledge
