About The Position

Site EHS professional responsible for instilling a superior safety culture, supporting site TCOS initiatives, and maintaining Safety and Environmental compliances.

Requirements

Ability to skillfully organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
Highly effective communication skills
Travel requirements – intercompany, education, & benchmarking
Background in Environmental Compliance
Excellent computer skills, preferably in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in safety or a safety-related field
5-8 years of experience in a safety-related field

Responsibilities

Attend supervisor and crew meetings, support and occasionally lead toolbox talks and monthly safety training
Ensure regular (daily) visibility with employees in their department and act as a resource to offer guidance for performing tasks safely
Build training with focus on TCOS concepts
Promote TCOS concepts & drive initiatives outlined in the division safety plan.
Champion improved safety practices with ALD Finishing employees
Assist in the development and implementation of safety controls
Coordinating, conducting, and tracking monthly safety training/events
Participation in New Hire orientation and training
Safety alert distribution and preparation
Perform safety audits and walk-throughs and communicate the results
JSA, LOTOTO, SOP, and Risk Assessment development and revisions
Incident investigation, review, and follow-up.
