Requirements

  • Ability to work a 12-hour shift beginning either 7AM or 7PM.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to stand for duration of shift.
  • Ability to be a team player and interact with colleagues.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain pallet ticket for startup pallet or changeover staged at the buffer from the operator.
  • Adjust the dust brush down to the tread surface.
  • Using a calibrated digital caliper, measure the thickness in the middle on each side of the tread, measure the length using marks on the conveyor table, and measure the base width with a tape measure. Record all results.
  • Inspect the base for CQ’s visually. If CQ’s are found mark and send to be spliced.
  • Cementer must be adjusted to meet specifications.
  • Measure the width of the tread with tape measure and the thickness of the tread with a caliper.
  • Inspect 3 feet of the front and back of each tread.
  • Reject any tread that fails to meet any PTOR.
