About The Position

Shaw Industries is seeking a Finishing Froth Machine Operator to operate the froth machine while monitoring backing operations and the flow of latex and chemicals. This position is on 3rd shift, Sunday night through Thursday night, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Responsibilities

Sew on backing.
Clean froth machine and prepare for startup.
Open latex valves at tanks in preparation of startup.
Change valves on pumps to direct latex to correct days tanks throughout the shift.
Open necessary valves on froth machine at beginning of shift.
Monitor backing and adjusts side to side as needed.
Check and record viscosity of latex in Tillotson
Keep froth pan and blade clean.
Shovel latex our of ditch and place in buggy
Change our empty totes
Open and close valves on latex tanks as necessary
Check screens on chemical hoses to ensure proper flow.
Watch for styles changes, seams, etc.
Keep work areas in a clean, orderly manner.
