About The Position

The Finishing Expediter plays a key role in ensuring that jobs are completed on time and prepared for shipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Finishing Expediter actively monitors production flow, coordinates with team members, and supports finishing operations to meet daily shipping deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Print daily truck list and 'Active BT' list; verify active blue tags in Finishing.
• Locate and prioritize jobs on the truck list; apply ‘expedite’ stickers and communicate priorities to operators.
• Attend daily truck meeting and provide ETA updates for Finishing items.
• Identify incomplete jobs; coordinate with Paint Department to expedite required BT.
• Monitor BT bins and assist with loading low-flow or BT items.
• Load jobs or individual pieces into Finishing.
• Support Finishing team to expedite truck list items, BT, and low-flow work.
• Cross-train in sanding and primer spraying to improve expediting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
