About The Position

The Finisher is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and load integrity of finished goods in the preparation of customer shipments. Facilitates the flow of inventory through consolidation, palletizing, and optimizing footprints for maximum utilization. As a Finisher in AirLife's warehouse you will work on the final stages of the production or distribution process.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and process adherence
• Standup forklift experience required, preferably Linde equipment
• WMS and scan gun experience required
• Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Hands on leader, typically not on forklifts daily, working from the warehouse floor using a mobile workstation
• 1+ yrs. of experience operating stand-up forklifts, preferably Linde.
• 1+ yrs. of experience with business related activities within a distribution center, including shipping, customer service, logistics.
• 1+ yrs. of stand up forklift experience.
• High School or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards before packaging or shipping.
• Completing any remaining assembly tasks, such as attaching labels, applying protective coatings, or assembling components.
• Recording any defects, repairs, or adjustments made during the finishing process, and ensuring that finished goods are accounted for.
• Facilitates the flow of inventory through consolidation, palletizing, and optimizing footprints for maximum utilization.
• Working closely with other departments, such as quality control, shipping, or production, to ensure a smooth workflow.
