Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Perform hands-on tasks, including laser marking, assembly, mass finishing, final cleaning, and chemical finishing of manufactured parts.
  • Adhere to established quality systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure effective manufacturing flow, accuracy, and fulfillment of all customer requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training in the utilization of inspections methods and equipment, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
  • Experience in Quality Systems in an ISO regulated manufacturing environment (custom medical device contract manufacturing preferred) is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the Quality Management System and documented processes
  • Follow SOP's, Work Instructions, and processes
  • Assist with training and cross training other team members
  • Inspect and hand deburr parts using magnification/microscope
  • Perform secondary operations, including laser marking, assembly, mass finishing, final cleaning, and chemical finishing
  • Employees must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions.
  • Can get along with co-workers and peers and respond appropriately to feedback from a supervisor in a professional manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and line clearance of work areas
  • Suggest improvements for inspection work processes and methods
  • Perform daily laser cutting and welding operations, including preparing, staging, loading, unloading, and handling components, as well as laser marking, deburring, cleaning, assembly, and other secondary operations.
  • Maintain production flow, communicate part or process concerns, support inspection needs, and work with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure components meet documented requirements and production schedules.
