Requirements

• Ability to run dual action sanders, grinders, and miscellaneous hand tools
• Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to perform tasks within time standards and maintain quality standards
• Must have general knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards

Nice To Haves

• 1-year experience in automotive paint prep and body repair
• High school diploma or GED
• NCCR – electrical course
• Has certification

Responsibilities

• Perform duties relating to the finishing and buffing of painted vehicle surfaces, as part of the manufacturing of large, custom special purpose vehicles, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
• Sand down painted surfaces
• Operate a buffer and understand the steps required to buff paint to a proper finish
• May be required to climb on vehicles and be required to wear fall protection
• Must keep the work area safe and clean to facility standards
• May perform other duties as assigned.
