Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Ability to learn basic chemistry skills
  • Must be a self-motivated individual and work well in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and common fractions).
  • Perform all functions related to assembly operations.
  • Must be competent in the use of hand tools.
  • Assure compliance with appropriate quality standards/requirements.
  • Responsible for safety and general housekeeping.
  • Perform similar or assigned duties as required within department.

Responsibilities

  • Operates and maintains anodizing line equipment, including racks, tanks, and chemical systems.
  • Handles material loading, transport, packaging, and inventory.
  • Performs quality, safety, wastewater, and housekeeping tasks.
  • Supports production flow, lean initiatives, and cross-department coordination while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Operate SuperFlex Computer on Anodizing Line.
  • Perform anodizing rack adjustments and maintenance.
  • Monitor waste water treatment (including filter cleaning and waste removal).
  • Perform chemical system monitoring.
  • Perform anodizing tank maintenance and upkeep (including filter changes).
  • Communicate with other manufacturing areas about anodizing needs.
  • Perform limited receiving dock operations (including tanker truck hook-ups).
  • Load/unload anodizing racks with reflectors/housings/materials.
  • Transport empty/full anodizing racks.
  • Reconfigure anodizing racks for various reflectors/housings/material.
  • Package material for assembly shipping (unload).
  • Perform as area spider (material handler) if necessary.
  • Perform inventory control procedures/paperwork/computer work.
  • Perform quality and safety inspections on all parts, orders and equipment.
  • Support, sustain and participate in Lean Manufacturing/Process Improvement events.
  • Individual responsibility for personal and area safety.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
