Requirements

Pass forklift written test and driving test
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to read and write English
Some mechanical skills

High School or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Unload, load, transfer, and stack finished goods and supplies to and from trucks
Interpret shipping orders or receiving reports to determine item(s) to be (un)loaded
Complete pre-load inspection and BOL
Stack and unstack pallets of products in rows, up to 5 high
Check product for quality, accuracy, and proper shipping information
Scan all ticket movement and maintain FIFO according to scanning system
Perform daily inspection of forklift before operating; ensure batteries are charged and maintained
Comply with proper weight distribution and load security on rail cars and trucks
Operate both propane and battery counter-balance lift trucks as well as standup lift trucks
Maintain good housekeeping in department and warehouses
Other duties as assigned or required by Management
