About The Position

The Finished Goods Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and material flow for all outbound finished goods. This role ensures proper documentation, storage, staging, and shipment preparation while supporting customer delivery requirements and compliance standards. The specialist works closely with warehouse, quality, logistics, and production teams to protect data integrity, prevent shipment delays, and uphold operational discipline across the finished goods area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years of experience in warehouse operations, finished goods handling, or inventory control.
  • Strong understanding of material flow, warehouse systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle, MES, or TMS platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all finished goods are accurately recorded, labeled, and stored according to established procedures.
  • Conduct routine inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain alignment between physical inventory and system records.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Specialist to validate finished goods inventories at exterior warehouses.
  • Coordinate with logistics, quality, and production teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate product availability.
  • Manage staging of finished goods for outbound shipments, including timely documentation, verification, and load preparation.
  • Support month end and quarter end inventory counts with accurate reporting and reconciliation.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for all finished goods adjustments, investigations, and material movements.
  • Assist in identifying and correcting root causes of inventory variances and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate with third party logistics partners when finished goods validation, reconciliation, or shipment coordination is required.
  • Uphold housekeeping, safety, and compliance standards within the finished goods area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Finished Goods Supervisor or Warehouse Operations Manager.
