About The Position
The Finished Goods Handler is responsible for physically preparing completed rolls of material for storage, shipment, and delivery. This position ensures finished goods are properly wrapped, labeled, palletized, and staged according to company quality and shipping standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or packaging experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Wrap, label, band, and palletize finished products according to established procedures.
- Inspect finished goods for quality, accuracy, and proper packaging prior to shipment.
- Stage and organize products for storage or outbound transportation.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions and product identification.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks while ensuring product integrity.
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.
- Communicate with production, warehouse, and shipping personnel to support efficient operations.
