We are currently hiring a Finish Technician in our San Diego, CA location!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of workplace safety programs
- Closed toe shoes and safety glasses when required
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Safe tool handling practices
- Moderate to loud noise work environment
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in optical/lens manufacturing is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Spot lenses to check power and prism measurements for accuracy
- Inspect and pad block lenses using specialized blocking equipment
- Clean and insert ophthalmic lenses into ophthalmic frames with precision
- Utilize lensometer equipment to check lens attributes against established quality standards
- Verify lens treatments and proper frame alignment against prescription specifications
