Monarch Manufacturing, Inc.’s Finish Department’s Team Leader is responsible for leading and motivating our Finishers as they take our custom cabinetry and apply the multitude of paint or stain options that we offer to create a truly custom piece.

Nice To Haves

• Prior woodworking or cabinetry experience is preferred but not required.
• Prior painting experience is preferred but not required.
• Prior sanding experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish department objectives by supervising and assigning tasks to staff.
• Organize and monitor work processes while finding opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain staff by training, coaching, disciplining, and developing personal growth opportunities.
• Assess the work performance of staff and identify areas that need improvement.
• Enforce company systems, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Read and comprehend order paperwork.
• Utilize various computer programs.
• Ability to use a High-Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) paint spray gun.
• Ability to perform hand sanding.
• Ability to use wipe staining processes.
• Roba machine operation.
• Makor operation.
• Train on the handling of hazardous waste materials.
• Dedication to keeping a clean and well-stocked working environment.
• Cross-train in other areas during department downtime.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Assessing the accuracy, neatness, consistency, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
