About The Position

The Finish Project Lead is responsible for leading HVAC finish installation projects from project handoff through final completion. This role ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within labor goals, and in compliance with company quality standards and applicable codes. The Finish Project Lead oversees daily workflow, coordinates apprentices, performs system startup and commissioning, verifies quality control, and ensures every project is completed professionally and ready for customer occupancy.

Requirements

Experience leading HVAC finish installation projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications.
Knowledge of applicable mechanical codes and safety standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual a plus
Clean MVR preferred

Responsibilities

Lead HVAC finish installation projects from start to completion.
Review project handoff information and understand project scope and requirements.
Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to apprentices and crew members.
Install HVAC equipment, ductwork components, registers, thermostats, controls, and accessories.
Perform system startup, commissioning, airflow balancing, testing, and operational verification.
Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and applicable building codes.
Monitor labor performance and maintain progress toward labor goals.
Communicate project progress, material shortages, and jobsite concerns to leadership.
Train, mentor, and develop apprentices through hands-on leadership.
Maintain organized jobsites, company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Complete project documentation and closeout procedures.
