About The Position

The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for an experienced Finish Excavator Operators with large earthworks construction / mining project experience. Requirements

  • Minimum three years of Finish Excavator experience in a road building, mining, and/or industrial setting.
  • Experience with finishing work (grading/sloping/levelling) required.
  • Previous experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life.
  • Incorporates HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades).
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with good safety awareness.
  • Experience with radio communications and protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.
  • Maintains equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns.
  • Complete production reporting and other documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
  • Operate other heavy equipment if required.
  • Follow all site, company and client specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
