About The Position

As a Finish Carpenter, you will play a critical role in the final stages of construction projects, ensuring that all traditional and custom interior and exterior woodwork, trim, cabinetry, and finishing elements are expertly installed. You’ll work closely with our team of construction professionals to create flawless, functional spaces that meet the highest standards of quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter, with at least 7 years of experience in residential or commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Skilled in both rough and finish carpentry.
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Own hand tools are required.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments.
  • High school graduate/GED.
  • Must successfully pass a post-offer physical exam, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Install paint-grade and pre-finished woodwork, trim, molding, doors, windows, custom siding and casework in high-end residential and customized commercial projects.
  • Measure, cut, and fit materials with precision, ensuring alignment and aesthetic integrity.
  • Repair or replace damaged woodwork and finishes as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to maintain project timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate work.
  • Work with a variety of materials including wood, laminate, MDF, and other composite materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on job sites.
  • Report to work daily and on time.
  • Observe Company and customer safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Work throughout the State of Connecticut.
