About The Position

Setup and operate assigned machine(s) to weigh, mix and/or blend rubber and other chemicals into a homogeneous mixture.

Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
Must possess basic computer skills, data entry skills, and the ability to operate and load simple computer programs to run the equipment.
Ability to operate with speed and accuracy and maintain a team player attitude.
Demonstrate the ability to work in a dynamic, energetic and fast paced work environment.

Load specified amounts of materials as directed by SOP into machinery or equipment.
Transfer materials, supplies, or products between work areas, using powered/non-powered transportation equipment and/or hand tools.
Examine materials, ingredients, or products per SOP to ensure conformance to established standards.
Operate machines per SOP to mix or blend ingredients to specific standard conditions.
Clean and maintain equipment as directed targeting a 5S approach.
Monitor accessory equipment, such as pumps or conveyors, to assure compliance to all standards of production process.
Follow work orders to determine production schedule, specifications and compliance to standards.
Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.
Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.
Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors for further processing.
Dislodge and clear jammed materials or other items from machinery or equipment as needed while maintaining SOP for safety and quality.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Notifies maintenance department of machine malfunction.
