About The Position

The Fine Dining Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional and elevated dining experience through professional, knowledgeable, and polished service. This role requires a deep understanding of menu offerings, wine pairings, and table service etiquette. The ideal candidate demonstrates grace under pressure, anticipates guest needs, and embodies the standard of excellence that defines our fine dining service. In alignment with our brand’s luxury standards and service expectations, this position demands the highest level of attention to detail, consistency, and commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to communicate in English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service standards specific to fine dining.
  • Ability to remain composed and professional in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers as needed and be a team player.
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Commitment to teamwork and maintaining the highest level of service etiquette and presentation.
  • Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Fine Dining experience preferred.
  • Previous restaurant/hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet each guest with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience from start to finish.
  • Present and explain menu items in detail, including preparation methods, ingredients, and recommended wine pairings.
  • Take and serve guest orders promptly while ensuring precision, elegance, and adherence to fine dining service standards.
  • Execute all required table service steps, including wine presentation and service, synchronized plate delivery, and proper clearing techniques.
  • Conduct pre-shift and closing side work, ensuring polished table settings, glassware, silverware, and service stations are maintained at the highest standard.
  • Operate the electronic cash register/POS system accurately and efficiently.
  • Inspect food and beverage items prior to service to ensure proper presentation, temperature, and portion.
  • Anticipate guest needs throughout their dining experience, providing intuitive service without being intrusive.
  • Collaborate closely with culinary and beverage teams to ensure seamless communication and flawless service execution.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
