About The Position

Nusenda Credit Union is seeking a Financial Wellbeing Specialist to support their Southern/West Texas Region in El Paso. This role involves working with the Financial Wellbeing Manager to develop and deliver financial education presentations, support the implementation of financial capability resources, and build partnerships within diverse communities. The specialist will also provide financial capability assistance through training and workshops, and support the maintenance of financial capability courses and online education systems.

Requirements

One to three years of similar experience
Associate Degree, or two-year college degree or related
Ability to develop and leverage community relationships with schools, community organizations, and select employer groups to grow the financial capability program through targeted outreach.
Knowledge in organizing and participating in community events, workshops, and presentations to promote financial capability.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service by supporting related inquiries and requests via phone and email while collecting program feedback from community members and stakeholders via surveys and shares with Financial Wellbeing Manager.
Experience in presenting at community events, promoting, supporting, collaborating with internal groups to enhance financial literacy and member education efforts.
Ability to support select employer groups, community partners, and members in accessing financial capability resources, including web-based resources, presentation requests, and customized materials.
Able to develop curriculum for varying levels and topics based on partners’ requirements and needs.

Responsibilities

Support ongoing development and implementation of Nusenda Credit Union’s financial capability resources.
Create and maintain partnerships within linguistically and economically diverse communities.
Offer assistance in financial capability through training, workshops, special projects and events.
Support management in updating and maintaining financial capability courses and administer online financial education systems.
